Mazda3 Trim Levels
Okay, so you’ve done your research, you’ve taken test drives, and you know for certain that you want the Mazda3 to be the sedan you drive around Langhorne, Bensalem, and Trevose. Now, all that’s left to do is decide which of the 2018 Mazda3 trim levels is right for your commutes around the greater Philadelphia area.
To help you decide, out team at Faulkner Mazda Trevose put together this trim level guide.
Mazda3 Sport Trim Level
The foundational trim of the 2018 Mazda3 is the Sport. This trim level comes standard with the SKYACTIV®-G 2.0L engine that generates 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque.
Inside the cabin, you’ll have the convenience of the standard Bluetooth® hands-free phone and audio streaming systems that allows you to link your wireless device with your MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system. This infotainment system also includes a 7-inch full-color touchscreen display in the center stack.
On the road, you’ll have the standard Smart City Brake Support system to help you traverse well-crowded areas more safely. A rearview camera also comes standard to make it more convenient to pull out of a parking space or parallel park on a busy street.
Many more smart safety features are available as part of a package upgrade.
Mazda3 Touring Trim
The Touring trim takes everything in the Sport and adds in more standard safety features. For example, Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are standard on this trim. These features alert you to other cars in your side and rear blind spots and can help make merging more convenient.
Rain-sensing windshield wipers also help you stay alert in inclement weather by automatically turning on and adjusting their speed to the rate of precipitation on the windshield. This way, you can focus your attention on navigation while your Mazda3 takes care of the windshield wipers.
The Touring trim also adds a bit more luxury to the interior by including leatherette-trimmed sport seats and door panel inserts. If the weather’s cold, the heating feature on these seats can help you warm up quickly.
Mazda3 Trim Levels: Grand Touring
The top-level trim of the Mazda3 is called the Grand Touring. This trim level keeps all the greatest hits from the Touring and Sport trims and includes some upgrades.
Starting with the outside, the Grand Touring trim level has a stylish and aggressive Black Metallic front grille. It also features a power sliding glass moonroof that can fill your cabin with fresh air and natural sunlight.
Speaking of the cabin, it upgrades your sound system to the Bose® 9-speaker Surround Sound system that can provide a concert-like experience. Your infotainment system with this trim level also includes the full-Color Active Driving Display.
This display projects important information, like turn-by-turn navigation, traffic signs, and incoming call information, on the lower portion of your windshield. This way, you can stay in-the-know without taking your eyes off the road ahead.
If you upgrade to the Grand Touring Premium Equipment Package, you’ll also get the following safety technologies:
- High Beam Control
- Lane Departure Warning System
- Lane-Keep Assist
- Mazda Radar Cruise control
- Smart Brake Support
- Traffic Sign Recognition
